Enrol your child in the Customised Entrance Exam Preparation Course so that they can learn each of the concepts required to pass the exam over 23 weeks. They’ll also be able to demonstrate:

Assessment:
All students are pre-assessed prior to the Preparation. A two-hour examination is provided to determine the student's skill strengths and skill weaknesses. The results provide a critical benchmark.

The assessment includes the following elements:

Review of the student's past three end-of-school reports

Evaluation of the student's Non-Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning Skills, Maths and English (including Reading and Spelling). Time required: 2 - 2.5-hours

Report: Presentation of the results from the assessment

Consultation: The examiner and the parent review all aspects of the report and discuss any questions that arise. It is important that the parent clearly understands all aspects of the report by the end of the consultation.

Small group tuition (maximum of 6 students):
Tuition provides intense learning opportunities to stimulate each student's curiosity, motivation and enjoyment. Our focus is always on building a student's confidence, developing retention and teaching mindfulness.
Cost: 90-minute lesson per week: £41/Per Hour

Verbal Reasoning is the ability to analyse information and solve problems using language-based reasoning.
​
Non-verbal Reasoning enables students to analyse and solve complex problems without relying upon or being limited by language abilities.
​
Spatial Reasoning is a category of reasoning skills. It refers to the capacity to think about objects in three dimensions and draw conclusions about them from limited information.
​
Mathematics and English lessons cover both Year 5 and part of Year 6. Your child will bring their new skills into their classroom this year.
