Literacy & Maths Clubs for ages 5-8

The key to student growth is teaching them at just the right level so that every child gets exactly what they need. High achievers are stretched while struggling students focus on building up their foundation. Each child advances at their own pace.

LearningClubs lessons include fun activities encourage lively and creative thinking. Students learn by exploring, discovering and discussing.

This can lead to conjecturing, explaining, generalising, convincing and proof - in general, a rich conversation.

  • Test & Interview: £50 per subject

  • The resulting information provides the tutor with essential direction when choosing the child's starting point.

  • Monthly Classes: £27/class (maximum of 5 students)

  • 1 class / week for 40 minutes includes:

  • Confidence building

  • Bespoke educational programme that is experiential

  • Weekly home practice

  • Fun online programme practice

  • Progress monitored weekly

  • Programme is modified when necessary

  • Learning strategies adapted to find the most          successful method for the child

Maths was painful for me and I didn't want my son to have the same experience. Since using the methods of this programme he has increased his maths scores and his confidence.

I have never understood why French grammar (was taught to me) but can honestly say that I cannot remember being taught English grammar.  I was seeing the same situation with my children. Thank you for breaking the cycle. Both children are experiencing much improved school reports.

My daughter is very bright but due to illness in Year One has fallen behind in maths.  I wanted to take action well before the 11Plus. The methods that you use have helped her catch up with other Year 2's. Thank you!

To be honest, my son really dislikes maths so I wasn't sure how he would settle into this programme.  Thankfully his attitude has changed and he can't wait for the next class with you.  By the way, his teachers have mentioned that they have seen a marked positive change in both his maths and his attitude about learning.
